Quilt Show

**Photos of quilts were taken/blogged with permission from the event coordinator.

Every year, not far from my hometown, there is an international quilt show. This year, they were showcasing quilts from England. So my mom invited me along, and together with my Grandma, we headed off to look at these fabulous quilts for a belated Mother's Day festivity.

The day was lovely. I snapped some photos of these amazing works of art, and taught Grandma how to take a selfie. I was also the youngest person there by at least 20 years.

I was a fan of the vintage looking quilts, though the exhibit featured quilts of all sizes and styles. One of my favourite (and my mom's favourite) non-traditional quilts was the incredible "Three Indian Women" quilt. It was amazing to see what some artisans can do with fabric!

Suddenly, I am feeling really inspired to start quilting...

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a lovely day, wherever you are. Don't forget to follow along or comment ... I love connecting with my readers!
