The Spirit of Spring

It felt a little bit like Christmas in May with the combination of coral pink and seafoam green. Variations on the traditional red and green always get me in the mood for pumpkin spice lattes, decorated pine trees, and skating - nevermind that Canada finally managed to join the rest of the Northern Hemisphere in springtime.

Really, though. How silly am I? Wishing for winter when the warm weather has finally arrived? Coral and Seafoam are nothing like green and red. They connotate memories neither of snow or sleigh rides, so I suppose I should get with the season (ha, get it?) and shove Frank Sinatra back into my Christmas repetoire for another 7 months and enjoy the warmth while it's here.

And someone knock me in the head, will you? I need to get in the spirit of Spring!

  1. Red shoes are always a fabulous pop. It doesn't matter what you're wearing, they're always just a cheerful Dorothy-type sight.

    I always seem to want whatever season I don't have. ~craving fall~
